The
Honeywell LG/EG flame monitoring system detects the UV radiation emitted
by a hydrocarbon flame and produces an output signal to indicate a flame
or noflame condition. This system has delivered
proven
performance on General Electric (and GE licensee) gas turbines for more
than 35 years.
Geiger
Mueller-type sensor phototube. Detects UV radiation in the 180..260 nm
range of the spectrum. Solar blind and tolerant to black body radiation.
Two-year
shelf-life, 10000h MTBF with over one billion (109) operating hours.
Gas
turbines for power generation and compressors
Temperature
range: -40...176C
Hardware
outputs: For EG1033 amplifier modules only
EG1033AA:
Transistor open collector
EG1033AB
and EG1033AC: Relay contacts (SPDT)
Features:
High sensitivity with fast Flame Present Response Time (0.1 sec typical)
Flame
Loss Response Time: 0.2 sec max.
Amplifiers
support multiple voltage requirements: 28 Vdc, 20-35 Vdc, and 115 Vac.
Operating
distances up to 330 m (1000 ft), sensor to amplifier.
Qualified
component on General Electric turbines.
Available
with European Directive CE mark for EMC 89/336/EEC, LVD 73/23/EEC, and
ATEX Explosive Atmosphere 94/9/EC (EEx d IIA T3 or EEX d IIC T3, Zones 1
and 2).
Available
with Factory Mutual approval for explosive atmospheres (Class I, Div 1 and
2, Groups B, C, and D).
Note:
Honeywell LG1093 series may not work like expected on GE/NP DLE gas
turbines (Low-NOx). These need pre-selected LG1093's that are not
available via Honeywell.
Flame
Sensor with 3/4 inch internal NPT mounting and Teflon shielded cable with
1" external conduit thread. Viewing window rated for 10 bar (150
psi).
